Book Club has once again reached enlightenment, this time in a heavenly flow state of hot dogs and brewskis while we discussed Kevin’s pick, Raw Dog: The Naked Truth About Hot Dogs.
The author, Jamie Loftus, spends an entire summer road tripping across the country, trying sometimes up to 5 hot dogs a day.. for uhh.. research purposes?
A very atypical read for a club that mostly reads fiction, we were all pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the journey this book took us on.
Not to mention our immense sense of pride to find out the best hot dog in the USA hails from our home state of New Fucking Jersey, baby!!!! And this lady knows what she’s talking about, okay?
Book Club gave this one a 4.1 out of 5 😯 I truly feel confident discussing the meat sausage now if the opportunity ever arises.
